Description

Throughout history and all over the world, wherever there is stone it has been taken advantage of, whether to make tools or as a raw material for building.

There are more than a hundred dry-stone huts catalogued in the municipality. Built by skilled peasants, they are in various shapes and styles and many are well preserved.

There is an easy itinerary along which you can see eleven of the most interesting dry-stone huts while enjoying the views of the countryside. We often visit and admire important buildings such as castles and churches, but these modest huts built by simple folk to ease the hard work on the land are also worthy of our attention.
