The Octopus Gastronomic Days of Mont-roig del Camp and Miami Platja have become a gastronomic reference of the town and of the region, and this year they will be held for the twelfth time.
The participating restaurants include on their menus different dishes made with the star product: the octopus, the protagonist of these days for being a seafood that dwells in a large number in the rocky bottoms of Mont-roig’s coast, and specially in the coves of Miami Platja. In addition, its nutritional and nourishing properties are the reason why it is a product with a wide range of gastronomic possibilities within the Mediterranean cuisine.
Also, one of the main events of the Days is the Octopus Festival, which this year will take place on June 2nd, in the bosquet del Llastres (pine forest of the Punta del Riu) in Miami Platja, where each participating restaurant will offer a tasting of its dish with its matching wine.
The Octopus Days will take place from June 2nd to June 16th, 2019, an excellent period that invites you to enjoy one of our best proposals.
One year again, the TapaPop is back! The 8 restaurants participating in the XII Octopus Gastronomic Days will be offering their dish in a tapa presentation and a drink, for only 3 euros. Another manner of participating in the Days!
You can get the TapaPop passport at the participating restaurants and at the Tourist Offices of the town. When you have completed it, come to Miami Platja Tourism Office and you will get a gift!
