Everything Ready for the San Juan Festival in Mont-roig del Camp and Miami Platja
Once again, Mont-roig del Camp and Miami Platja are getting ready to celebrate the magic of San Juan night.
The festivities will begin on Monday, June 23, with the collection of the Flama del Canigó by the Muntanya Roja Neighbourhood Association and its journey to Mont-roig del Camp.
The symbolic flame will make its way through the streets of Mont-roig, arriving at the Summer Arena, where a manifesto will be read and the traditional bonfire lit.
In Miami Platja, the celebration kicks off a day earlier, on Sunday, June 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sant Jaume Seniors’ Centre, with a San Juan party especially for the elderly.
On the night of June 23, residents of both towns will enjoy a bring-your-own dinner: at the Summer Arena in Mont-roig and on Cristal Beach in Miami.
