The Old Church Cultural Center (Centre Cultural Església Vella) in Mont-roig del Camp will host the opening of the Joan Miró / Josep Royo exhibition on Friday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m.
The exhibition is held in collaboration with the Miró Estate and the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Mallorca, and is designed by set designer Ignasi Cristià.
This exhibition brings Miró’s work back to Mont-roig del Camp, the village that deeply inspired him throughout his artistic career. The collection features a selection of tapestries created by Josep Royo based on graphic works by the artist, in a collaboration that opened a new path in the world of textile art.
The exhibition will be open to the public from June 28 to September 15. It presents a collection of tapestries created by Josep Royo based on works by Joan Miró, highlighting their artistic connection.
