Privacy

The Mont-roig del Camp Town Council, in accordance with the data protection policy defined below, agrees to respect the privacy and confidentiality of your data.

Data handling

We only collect the names, personal addresses (work or electronic), telephone numbers or any other personal data the user sends to us voluntarily and solely for the specific procedures they are needed for.

We guarantee confidentiality in the handling of all the personal data accessible as a result of the registration of the requested procedure.

We will only request the registration of personal data when this is necessary to request a service provided through the Mont-roig del Camp Town Council website. The data obtained and those that may originate as a result of the execution of the service will be those that are necessary for carrying out, checking and managing the requested procedures and will be incorporated into the corresponding files that are created.

The persons responsible for the files and those who are involved in any stage of the data handling are subject to the strictest professional secrecy, with a special commitment to adopting the levels of protection and necessary technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security of the personal data and prevent their modification, wrongful use, loss, theft or unauthorised handling or access.

Finally, the Mont-roig del Camp Town Council guarantees that the files, programs, equipment and premises involved in the process of handling the submitted data comply with the requisites for integrity and security established in the valid regulations at any particular time.

Cessions

The personal data collected as a result of registration on the Mont-roig del Camp Town Council website will not be supplied or communicated to third parties outside of this Town Council, except where this is necessary for the provision of the requested service or when required to do so by the competent public authorities in accordance with the legal and regulatory dispositions applicable at any particular time.

Consent

The request for a procedure to be carried out through the portal implies the express acceptance without reservation of the personal data privacy policy maintained by the Mont-roig del Camp Town Council.

The introduction and registration of personal data by the user implies their acceptance and express authorisation to the Town Council to compile and incorporate them into the relevant files and to handle them as necessary, the voluntary acceptance of the cession of said registered data solely when such a cession is necessary for the provision of the requested service and, finally, authorisation to maintain them during the periods provided for under the applicable legal dispositions.

Given that the user’s authorisation to handle the data and the indicated cessions are voluntary, the user may revoke the authorisation conceded here both in terms of the handling of the data and their cession, according to the terms established in the current data protection regulations at any particular time.
