PREVENTION MEASURES

Our township, which is in the health region of Camp de Tarragona, has recently passed phase 3 of the de-escalation process and is now in the resumption phase. The Tourism Board wants to inform our visitors about everything you need to know about health safety advices and recommendations.


The formula that protects you: distance + hands + mask


Beaches and coves



  1. Distance of 2 meters between attendees including towels and other personal items

  2. Use gloves and hand hygiene products if you touch foreign materials and items

  3. Protect yourself with a mask if it is not possible to keep a distance of 2 meters

  4. Maximum groups of 15 people, except people living together

  5. You cannot use the showers, footbaths, toilets and children’s play areas, they are closed for safety reasons

  6. Most of the creeks in Miami Platja are open to the public, except for Cala Bot and Cala del Solitari which will not be opened due to the refurbishment works in progress. If security measures are breached or there are crowds, the City Council of Mont-roig del Camp reserves the right to close them again.

  7. Els Penyals beach is open, but the accesses to numbers 56 and 62 of the Passeig Marítim are closed.

  8. From 3rd July there will be a lifeguard service on Cristall beach, Pixerota beach and the public swimming pools in Mont-roig and Urb. Via Marina

  9. Before entering the public toilets (WC) installed in the main beaches and creeks of the township, it is mandatory to wash your hands with the available hydroalcoholic gel and use the mask indoors.

Basic information



  1. The use of a mask is mandatory

  2. Wash your hands frequently

  3. You must maintain a safe distance of at least 1,5 meters

  4. Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze

  5. Avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes without first washing your hands

  6. Avoid sharing food and utensils


Tourist Offices



  1. It is mandatory to use the mask inside the office

  2. You must maintain a safe distance of at least 1,5 meters

  3. Use hydroalcoholic gel and disposable handkerchiefs that will be placed outside the office before accessing them

  4. Wear gloves if indicated

  5. Use specific containers to throw away gloves, mask and handkerchiefs

  6. The Tourist Offices will have information posters with tips and guidelines to follow

  7. They will also have protective screens on the counters


Tourist accommodation



  1. Establishment workers will be equipped with appropriate prevention measures

  2. They will have hydroalcoholic ice in the reception, toilets, restaurant and other services

  3. They will also have protective screens in places where necessary

  4. They will have informative posters with tips and guidelines to follow

  5. They will be able to open to the public the common areas of the hotels and tourist lodgings, as long as it does not exceed 50% of his gauging. Animation activities or group classes must have a maximum capacity of 20 people.


Active tourism companies



  1. Active and nature tourism activities can be done with groups of up to 30 people, with registered companies and preferably by appointment.


Trade and catering



  1. Establishment workers will be equipped with appropriate prevention measures

  2. They will have hydroalcoholic ice at the entrance and, if necessary, other elements of individual protection for customers

  3. They will also have protective screens in places where necessary

  4. Commercial premises will limit capacity to 50% of capacity in accordance with current regulations

  5. Commercial premises will prioritize the care of people over 65 at a specific time

  6. They will have informative posters with tips and guidelines to follow

  7. Outdoor markets will be allowed with 1/3 of the stalls

  8. The terraces will continue with a limitation of 75% of their capacity. They will open establishments for consumption inside the premises, (<50% of its capacity and maintaining a minimum distance of two meters).

  9. It is allowed to open the interior of nightclubs and nightlife with the following conditions:

    – Maximum occupancy of 33% of the capacity (with respect to the municipal license).

    – The dance floor can only be used for table placement and cannot

    dance.


Public buildings



  1. Public workers will be equipped with the appropriate personal protective equipment

  2. They will have hydroalcoholic ice at the entrance and, if necessary, other elements of individual protection

  3. They will also have protective screens in the spaces where necessary

  4. Adequate capacity will be limited to regulations

  5. They will have informative posters with tips and guidelines to follow
