Description
In Miami Platja everybody knows it as the “Tower”, this round new construction tower with battlements and openings, which is located over the Solitario creek. It is Miami Platja's coastline feature as it was built up at the beginning of the urban development of this place. It has a high landscape value and it is an excellent place to have a rest during any walk. From this location we can enjoy a splendid view all over the transparent waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Sant Jordi and not far from here you have access to the creeks. The “Tower” remembers the ancient Penyals tower, which was built in 1574 and blown up by the British navy on June the 17th 1813. It has also been a lookout point of the Civil Guard.
